The police charged the suspects with criminal conspiracy, attempt to commit the offence: to wit robbery, and being in possession of dangerous weapons.He directed the police to return the case file to the State Directorate of Public Prosecutions for legal advice.Earlier, the prosecution counsel, Miss Asma’u Ado, told the court that the suspects committed the offence on September 5, 2022, at Zoo Road Quarters, Kano.

Ado alleged that the suspects, on the same date at about 1:30am were arrested by the police while on surveillance patrol and were found to be in possession of three long sharp knives and charms.The suspects, however, denied committing the offence.
