Court Orders Saraki, Murray-Bruce, Melaye To Honour Police Invitation.

Updated April 4, 2019A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has dismissed a suit filed by the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, and two other senators against the Inspector General of Police.

The lawmakers and some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party had staged a protest to the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Abuja, demanding free and fair conduct of the 2019 general elections.Their next port of call was the Police Headquarters, but the protesters were stopped along the way and dispersed by security operatives.

The senators, however, filed a fundamental human rights enforcement suit before the Federal High Court. The lawmakers also prayed the court to direct payment of N5 million to them by the respondent as exemplary damages arising from their humiliation, intimidation, and harassment, as well as the unlawful attempt to arrest them.

Does Buhari obey court order

I think the best for them is to honour the invitation first because the young Nigerians are watching to see if they will obey the laws that guide the federation.

That's very good news, just wanted to answer there case mostly Saraki and Dino malaye 😂

how about your order on El Zack's

Yet they are not in power...what if, just if🤔

Looks like a massive raid on opposition. However, it remains unclear why they should reject an invitation by the police

Ok oOo!

Gud Dr saraki

Nigerians watch it ooooh they want to start to harass those who matter in the Senate to pepertuate their scheme of imposing a puppet as Senate president

Why must the court intervene in every simple issues before they are resolved

Another drama in perspective from the kogi senator

E don happen ... Action film

I don't know whether we should have one party system in Nigeria, once you join Apc you automatically become saint.

What are these men and their party turning Nigeria to. They and their party think their members are above the law.

Where are their supporters Ipob Igbos, they will soon start lamenting and wailing.

They above the law untouchable senators

Yeye pipo, police invited you, you didn't honor the invitation, weeks after you lead a protest to the same place, if it was ordinary citizens the police would have arrested them. Shameless pipo

Yawa go dey

On what, but Apc members are bigger than court as well
