“Over 123,000 confirmed #COVID19 cases on the African continent – with more than 50,000 recoveries & 3,600 deaths,” the UN health agency tweeted. The WHO African Region COVID-19 dashboard showed that South Africa, Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, Morocco, and Ghana have continued to top the list of countries with the highest reported COVID-19 cases.
