Coronavirus hits 50 countries in Africa as death figures rise to 284

The health agency disclosed this in a tweet on its official Twitter account on Friday morning.

According to the tweet, COVID-19 had killed 284 people in Africa, while a total of 561 patients recovered from the deadly disease across the continent.“50 @_AfricanUnion Member States reporting 7,028 COVID-19 cases, 284 deaths, and 561 recoveries by region.”
