Delta State Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Patrick Muoboghare, has urged chairmen and members of the Governing Councils of the state’s three new universities to bring their personal experiences to bear in their new assignments.

Muoboghare, who made the call in Asaba during his maiden meeting with them after their inauguration by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, said they were men and women of impeccable character, with varied experiences in their endeavours, which he believed, would make positive impact in the development and growth of the institutions and the governor for their appointments.

He implored them to study the laws establishing the universities carefully, so as to be fully abreast with their duties and avoid unnecessary conflict with the management.
