Some commercial drivers operating along the Elekahia-Choba route of the East-Road axis of Obio/Akpo Local Government Area of Rivers State have accused the police of illegally blocking the road and extorting them.The drivers, in separate interviews with our correspondent, appealed to the state Commissioner of Police, Friday Eboka, to call his men to order.

“Before, I usually go home with between N6,000 and N7,000, but now, I go home with about N4, 000. Let the government help us because we are suffering.
