The governor, while praying for the quick recovery of the students who were injured in the roof collapse, also revealed that he had directed the Commissioner for Education to liaise with the university authorities on necessary interventions to ameliorate impacts on the affected.
'I urge the people of the state to stand in solidarity with the institution, most especially injured students, and render any available support, including donation of blood if required. 'I also pray for the quick recovery of injured students while hoping that the OAU overcomes this dastard experience in no time to be able to focus on the pursuit for academic excellence.
