The World Bank has disclosed that 86 million people could become climate migrants in Nigeria, other Sub-Saharan countries by 2050.This disclosure was made in a statement titled ‘Climate change could force 216 Million people to migrate within their own countries by 2050’ issued to announce the publication of a World Bank’s updated Groundswell report on Monday.
The statement said, “The World Bank’s updated Groundswell report released today finds that climate change, an increasingly potent driver of migration, could force 216 million people across six world regions to move within their countries by 2050.”
That is just an academic opinion/statement. The obvious hard economic realities is enough to make the entire ordinary citizens to migrate to other countries around for survival
