winger Samuel Chukwueze is set to make his 100th LaLiga appearance for Villarreal when the Yellow Submarines take on Rayo Vallecano at the Estadio de la Ceramica on Sunday ,The Nigerian joined Villarreal in 2017 from Diamond Academy in Nigeria and made his first-team debut for the Yellows in 2018 featuring for 90 minutes in the Yellows 1-1 draw at home to Levante on April 11, 2018.
Chukwueze who has so far played eight league games scoring once will also be aiming to score his second goal against Rayo Vallecano. He has played thrice against the club from Vallecas currently in sixth position with 27 points and are unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions.Should he make his 100th appearance in the game, Chukwueze will become the sixth Nigerian to reach the milestone after Mutiu Adepoju, Finidi George, Ike Uche, Kalu Uche and Christopher Ohehen.
