A global community with a shared future is central to Chinese President Xi Jinping’s idea and vision for the world. Since then the pursuit of a global community with a shared future for mankind has remain a major point in diplomatic circles. This is because the world need peace to progress, in recognition of the fact that our common humanity can go a long way in fostering global harmony, fairness, equity and justice.

We are all interconnected. As President Xi noted in a Keynote address at the CPC conference of World political parties in March 2023, where he also proposed the global civilisation initiative, the world is like a garden that is more beautiful and colourful when we work together in common aspiration for peace and harmony: ”A single flower does not make spring, while one hundred flowers in full blossom bring spring to the garden.
