Abubakar said the excellent results of the pupils of the school especially in the recently released West African Senior School Certificate Examination testified to the efforts of the staff of the school in producing great children. Some members of the teaching and non-teaching contract staff of the school had complained to Abubakar about their low remunerations and he promised to address the issue raised.
After inspecting the hostels, dining hall, classrooms and other places, he promised to address the problems of accommodation, electricity, poor remuneration of contract staff of the school, provision of buses to ease teachers’ transport problems. He said, “This school is one of the best schools in Nigeria today. We will intervene in every area that requires attention.”All rights reserved.
