Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has said that the entire team should be blamed for their 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa over the weekend.

The Dutchman noted that his team was so poor during the game and said that such results should not happen again. Ten Hag said this while addressing a post-match press conference after Manchester United’s 4-2 win over Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup on Thursday night. But they immediately equalised through Anthony Martial and fell behind for the second time after an own goal from Diogo Dalot

However, Marcus Rashford pulled his side level six minutes later with a fine effort before Bruno Fernandes’ deflected effort put them ahead with Scott McTominay latching onto Garnacho’s superb ball to seal the win“But what we see after such a performance on Sunday, to fight back today, even when twice down, is good and a real compliment for tonight.”
