The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has signed into law the 2022 budget of N189.62bn, with 56 per cent allocated to capital expenditure and 44 per cent to recurrent expenditure.The budget proposal from the executive had pegged the capital expenditure at 55.3 per cent while the recurrent stood at 44.7 per cent.

A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, said, “Some of the highlights of the budget included the implementation of the consequential adjustment of minimum wage and paying some salary arrears that could not be paid by the previous administration.
