A female mobile police officer attached to the Lagos State Building Control Agency was on Monday injured during an attack by some louts at the scene of the collapsed building at Agboye Estate on Oduntan street in the Ketu area of the state.

Speaking with our correspondent, a resident, who does not want her name mentioned, said the thugs had expressed their displeasure at the attitude of the LASBCA officials.

The resident said, “The youths said they were not comfortable with the action of some members of the enforcement team that came here today. That was what led to an argument between them. The police officer was stabbed while trying to hold one of them. and the moment they realised what happened, they retreated and left.”

The fair-skinned police officer was sighted by our correspondent in a nearby hospital where she was receiving treatment.Kindly share this story: All rights reserved.
