President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to visit Yola, the Adamawa State capital, tomorrow to console the family of the late Ahmed Joda.

It became public knowledge earlier in the week that Buhari would be in the Yola home of Ahmed Joda on Friday, August 20, and the state Police Command announced Thursday that it is deploying officers and men and other operational assets to protect the President. According to the statement, “The teams are expected to carry out covert surveillance as well as confidence-building patrols within the state in conjunction with sister security agents.”
