President Buhari’s condolence was disclosed in a statement by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, on Monday.Shehu died on Sunday morning at his residence in Abuja, according to a former Director of Army Public Relations, retired Brig Gen SK Usman.
“He will be buried according to Islamic injunctions after Janazah prayer at Apo Legislative Quarters Mosque, Apo, Abuja by 1.00pm today,” he said. The deceased was a non-executive director on the Board of Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc and former Secretary-General of the Arewa Consultative Forum .
