The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Monday, inaugurated 76 housing units for Nigerian citizens in Lokoja, Kogi.

The housing units, built by the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, were made up of 48 units of 2-bedrooms; 24 units of 3-bedrooms, and 4 units of 1-bedroom apartments.

Buhari, during the inauguration, had described the project as a “fulfilment of the change that APC promised Nigerians in 2015″. The president, represented by the Honourable Minister of State for FCT, Ramatu Aliyu, expressed optimism that, given the provision of more lands, the government could do more for Nigerians.

“The progressive ideals of our government seeks to achieve one primary objective, which is to improve the human condition,” the minister affirmed.
