The Presidency has come up with reasons 35 aides attached to the office of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, were dismissed during the week.30 aides attached to the VP had been sacked with their names and portfolios published.
“It is also an appropriate response to the general perception that the Presidency has an oversized and bloated workforce which acts as a drag on efficiency. “In carrying out these exercises, the overriding objective is to save taxpayer money and deliver needed service to the public. As far as the President is concerned, there is no scope for an excuse for administration after getting a huge mandate to run the country for four more years.
Why not start the cuts of cost of governance (as a good example) with the presidential aids if the reasons given are true? It is only fools that can be deceived, something is happening in the corridor of power pls.
President Buhari's aide should be equally reduced too and some other top government officials . My opinion though
It's a height of impunity and well orchestrated campaign against the vice president
The bottom line is 'no one is too powerful for the president to control', otherwise as a VP he should have been informed to embarked on the same similar exercise unfortunately those aides of yours that you laid off were not published, no one knows the time & no number.
