The thirty-six State Governors under the aegis of the Nigeria Governors Forum, NGF have denied hoarding Palliatives that are designed for the people as cushion following the outbreak of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
The Governors who called on members of the public to check their facts stressed that they all recognize the need for improved governance.The Governors who noted that as Nigerians, we must be careful not to damage ourselves by pushing the wrong narrative, said that they are doing their very best under the circumstances to ameliorate the needs of the teeming population.
“For example, some of the properties stolen and vandalized, include palliatives set aside for vulnerable members of society. “As we know, CACOVID operations are mainly domiciled in Lagos, being the headquarters of most of the public-spirited organisations, corporate bodies and individuals that came together to form the Coalition Against COVID-19; CACOVID.
“Furthermore, as of a couple of weeks ago, some States were still receiving palliatives from the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
Mobilize 50,000 youths in every state and pay the Gov an unscheduled visit.
There is a Cold War going on between the older generation and my generation. They’re using money, army and the police to fight us while we using the internet. Parents fighting children just to prove a point.
I thought some them said the products are expired. Some are saying they distributed theirs as at when due. Only God will judge everyone according to their deeds
