Wailers will still argue.

Story

Ok

How does the growth affect positively the common man in the street? That's my ultimate concern.

falsified data

King of Fake news.

the common man on the street does not feel the effect.

channel TV, has allow itself to be used as Buhari propaganda, big shame.

Inflation Rate - 11.61% Youth Unemployment Rate - 19.96% Nigeria's debt - $83.88 Billion Sorry was this part of the parameters. To come up with this?

Now, can we say the border closure has been justified?

Fake news. How does that reduce price of rice? I don't believe all these online fake new

Audio growth

It can only gets better. Slow and steady win the race. For some of us, the efforts at diversifying this mono-economy is real. God is our strength

Did you factor the inflation rate that have literally wiped the purchasing power. Economic growth & prosperity should be all inclusive. You don't look at it one sided.Government must drive inclusion in economic prosperity of the nation. GDP can't be rising while inflation is peak

From most people comments, they sound as if they dnt even want this country called nigeria to grow..

Good news, but Nigerians need it to grow faster & more rapidly. Nigerians need remarkable growth. Nigerians need it to enter three point soonest, like in this last quarter.

At what rate is the population growing? 3.8%? So is 2.5% enough?

Congrats good people of our great Nation. 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

Let the borders remain closed

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Rice is now 30k/bag all-time high. The Local Rice is a jingle. Xmas celebration is going to be nail-biting.

According to Prof. Babatunde Sofela, this is nonsense as long as it does reflect in the majority of the masses. Don't let me go further, it's like the government is now monitoring our views!

G+I+G+(X-M) with borders closed? And I can really see the govt investment.. What's the figure for capital investment in 2019 budget again someone pls remind me.. Well done ooo

Fallacy

Good news but please let us feel the impact Mbok

Wonderful....

Audio growth

Audio GDP

Finally is reporting good news again

Why are we fast to ask for the impact of the figures to Nigerians when they are good?

in ehat planet is 2 percent large? China and the US have bigger economies yet they would et celebrate 2 percent as large

Isiakaabd Nigeria will be great in our lifetime

This is something good, but i still believe we can do much better. Let get the numbers going up!!!!

What's the population growth? 🤔

Since it's not a bad news... No one cares

If they like they should hype it the more, take a look at the millions of Nigerian graduates 🎓 with no work why can’t the government create job opportunities for the citizens billions of dollars flying from one news paper to another still nothing to show on we are tired.

People getting poorer while the GDP is increasing? What's this called in economics

We need to commend Nigeria on this growth and encourage them to study these figures and know where to put in more work. Oil production is booming at 2.04 million barrels per day, quarrying and minerals grew by 58%, manufacturing by 39% agricultural almost 15%.

We are use to such influential figure from our government they always use it to cover up their inadequacy unemployment have layered a solid foundation in this country please take the news to their families that where it belong.NOIweala

how does this ease the lives of Nigerians already in terrible pains.

GDP growth is nothing to be happy about it if doesn't trickle-down to per capita. Nigeria is a rich nation with poor citizenry.

Voodoo GDP again... Niaja una nor go stop

And how do we as Nigerians feel this minimal growth? We hear this all the time yet bag of Nigerian rice is an essential commodity to the common man?

Wailers like adeyanjudeji and co will never commend this.

Congratulations to the federal government for this success, this is going to give rise to a better and sustainable economy. The FG should endeavor to improve the natural resources which have like coal, minning etc it will help us alot so we can pay less attention on oil. GDP

Is this Nigerian channels or am I dreaming? Una sabi report good news?

DOlusegun What do you have to say about this AishaYesufu

Agriculture that was forgetten because of oil grew by 14.88%, so why were we fighting over oil whereas the government can enpower the youths by sending then on trainings to help us grow the agricultural sector but congratulations to them for this improvement. GDP

Development always comes at a price, the closing of our borders by the federal government led us to look away from importation and face other sectors like manufacturing, agriculture etc and it has boosted our economy. The non oil sector grew by 1.85% and can even do better.

MBuhari kindly continue to close the border

The fundamental questions are: is it properly distributed? 2 if truly it’s grows; for who does it grow? If this questions can’t be answered with clarity, it would be right to submit that this is merely economic romanticizing.

Children and agents of anger and corruption won't like this kind of news at all.

Your GDP growth is absolutely gubshites 1. If your debt management is fucked. 2. Your citizens still record as one of the poorest in the world. 3. No infrastructural development. 4. Unimaginable high level of unemployment Etc. STATS in books ain't same as REALITY...

CC :apa_kay

God bless 🇳🇬 We are going HIGHER

This is no longer interesting to us any more what we need is employment and not GDP the influential figure here can never help our situation thousands of graduates 🎓 every year no plans for them and what we receive from the government is a hyped and influential GDP.

The Nigerian development structures is always on paper and on internet what will it take the federal government to create a massive job opportunities for their citizens every day you keep hyping the GDP we are going no where with such influential figure hype it the more.
