A source within the university told our correspondent that the kidnappers had reached out to the parents of the abducted students and demanded the sum of N25 million as ransom.He said, “It is indeed a sad situation that students will be kidnapped without any help from security operatives in the area. I hear that the kidnappers are demanding N25m from the parents. The incident clearly shows that we are not safe in this environment. We are praying for their safe return from the kidnappers’ den.”
