President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the bill approving N30,000 as the new national minimum wage into law. However, presidential assent was still outstanding, prompting the Nigerian Labour Congress to give Buhari until May 1 to complete the signing.

30k at 365 per $1 and a bag of rice at 23k? NLC should move for better economy, appreciation of the naira instead of this increase in minimum wage. It's a vicious cycle, now other things will increase, fuel? Food items? Transport fare? The list is long.
