A former super permanent secretary during the Gowon Era and elderstateman, Alhaji Ahmed Joda, has died at the age of 91.A family member, Mohammed Baba, confirmed Joda’s death to journalists.The remains of the deceased has already been taken to Yola cemetery for burial according to Islamic rites.
“As I’m talking to you, the elder statesman has already been taken to the family cemetery for burial,” the source said.The elder statesman led the 2015 Transition Committee of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.
