Breaking: Dickson won’t sign life pension bill

A source close to the governor said Dickson frowned at the provisions of the bill and had decided to withhold his assent.The source, who is part of the media team to the governor, said Dickson had prepared a letter for transmission to the leadership of the House advancing reasons for withholding his assent.

It was also learnt report by a national daily that the governor was prepared to sign the bill was misleading.
