President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the Senate seeking approval for the confirmation of Professor Mahmoud Yakubu for a second term in office as the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission .
Senate President Ahmad Lawan read the letter on Tuesday at the resumption of legislative proceedings after a one month recess.
I would not be surprised should the Senate confirm Yakubu.

Yakubu has already confirmed by the Senate lawan before the arrival of the letter, I have following up ever since he was also appointed by Buhari and his name sent to senators for confirmation, he has never rejected any letter from president even to sell Nigeria to China.
