Buhari orders ministers with political ambitions to resign

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , has ordered all members of his cabinet and appointees vying for electoral offices to resign on or before May 16, 2022.

The order came at Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by the President at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja. Minister of information, Lai Mohammed, disclosed this to State House Correspondents shortly after the meeting. Cabinet members affected include Ministers of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio; Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige; Science, Technology and Innovation, Ogbonnaya Onu, Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba; Justice minister and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.

Others include the Minister of State Mines and Steel, Uche Ogar, who is running for governorship position in Cross Rivers State, the Minister of Women Affairs, Paulline Tallen, who declared her ambition to contest for the senatorial seat in Plateau State.

That's that true

The order should be to all persons seeking for political appointments come year 2023 and not only to the ministers as was heard!

Time for these fools to start returning the forms and ask for refund. Reckoning time is here. Democracy my ass. This is pure demonstration of crazy people.

So since him no be know wetin dey sup... This man is really incompetent

That's good. Can Enugu State gov. Stop playing politics with primary school teacher's minimum wage and allowances and paid them. For over two years they have been suffering.. they thought you please, don't cheat them

If not Kangaroo government, will they be informed to do so

Not ministers alone he said all political appointees in his cabinet

Coming from the minister for petro-ehm?

After paying non-refundable 100M.

Very important...

All na charade, the way he is always dishing out warnings to 'Northern terrorists' but will not do jack shit.

The law says 30 days b4 primaries, all political appointees should resign, now 20 day's to d primaries, dey are still on dere positions. Dey should have been fired by now not to ask dey dem to resign anymore, since dey know wat d law says.

I hope Malami will also resign as he is also going for governor?

Does he need to order them before they do what is right according to the law. Or is it that they cannot read the law or constitution to understand what it says clearly. Na wa o

Explosion Rocks Nigerian Army Headquarters in Taraba

Okay

After collecting their N100m first, which kain thing be this sef?

Isn't the constitution there to guide? Must he order before they do the right thing? Scam government.

Finally

Finally, Baba get sense .. this is probably OSIBANJO card and COS

😆. This Buhari is indeed a military man. He left to contribute their 100m first. Laughing😅 in hausa.

Does it have to get to this point ? Don’t they know the law? Don’t they seek advice from their lawyers?

They so love the FEC meeting and don't wish to resign

Double wahala for deady body, 100m lottery ticket, Form 18, Voluntary withdrawal form, now resignation

Were they supposed to be ordered first they knew what to do while wait till this moment first

We are watching

Threats here and there, no more constitutional rights

They had to wait to collect their 100m 😭

Why?

In a democratic dispensation, do we order or direct
