Gernot Rohr has handed a home debut to Maduka Okoye, Zaidu Sanusi, and Kevin Akpoguma for Friday’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nation qualifier against Sierra Leone at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium.reports that the trio made their full debut for the Eagles in last month’s friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia in Austria.
Okoye who is in goal for the encounter will be making his fourth appearance for the Eagles while the duo Akpoguma and Sanusi featuring at right-back and left-back respectively are making their third appearance for the team.Also recalled to the starting line-up are Victor Osimhen, Joe Aribo, and Oghenekaro Etebo.
