The Executive Secretary of the Borno State Scholarship Board, Malam Bala Isa, made this known while announcing the development in Maiduguri on Friday. Isa disclosed that the Borno State Government would give each of the 300 orphans N200,000 which will cover their tuition fee from elementary to secondary throughout the duration of their programmes.
'Each of the cjtf orphans will receive a sum of #200, 000 for the scholarship,' he said. He also purchased a total of 1,878 admission forms for indigenes studying nursing and midwifery across 27 local government areas of the state. According to him, the programme is aimed at boosting healthcare delivery at local levels.
