Boko Haram: Troops kill 27 terrorists, recover arms, ammunition

A statement issued today, Monday by Acting Director Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa indicated the recent encounter took place recently in the Northern part of Wulgo, Tumbuma, Chikun Gudu and Bukar Maryam villages.

According to him, during the operations, 27 terrorists were neutralised, while many arms and ammunition belonging to the terrorists were recovered. He said among the items are: 5 AK 47 rifles, 2 general purpose machine guns, 4 rocket propelled guns and 1,000 assorted rounds of different calibre ammunition“Coordinated military operation is ongoing especially in the fringes of Gombaru – Ngala and surrounding areas to deal with the fleeing bandits running out from Multi-National Joint Task Force onslaught on their hideouts”, Colonel Musa noted.
