The Boko Haram insurgents have attacked Kudakaya, a village in Madagali LGA of Adamawa State, and killed 26 people.
Our correspondent gathered on Tuesday that the insurgents stormed Kudakaya village in large numbers and on motorbikes around 7pm on Monday, shooting wildly and inflicting deadly injuries on helpless villagers. A former chairman of the Madagali LGA, Abawu Ularamu, who corroborated the vigilante member’s account, said, “The Boko Haram elements burnt several shops and many homes. They stole food items. As I am talking to you now, we are living in an atmosphere of despair and agony for this attack. Over 20 people were killed.
