Boeing 737 MAX 8: Air Peace CEO frowns at attack on airline vanguardngr.com vanguardnews

According to Onyema, it is true that Air Peace booked for10 Boeing 737MAX 8, after which the aircraft type was involved in two fatal accidents in Indonesia and Ethiopia respectively, but like other airlines that have also ordered the aircraft, Air Peace would wait for the outcome of investigations before taking a decision on the order.

While reiterating the fact that Air Peace does not have the aircraft in its fleet, he wondered why Nigerians were attacking the airline, while nobody had attacked the carriers that have the aircraft and are operating the equipment before the accidents, adding that instead of supporting their own they misinform the public in order to damage the image of the company.

“But I still wonder that air accident happened in Ethiopia, Ethiopians have never taken their airline that had accident to the cleaners. Ethiopians have never, up to this moment, attacked Ethiopian Airlines that bought this aircraft. South West Airlines have so many of these planes, no country has ever attacked those who innocently purchased these planes and who are already using them”.

vanguardngr Nigerians have lost faith in their leaders because of corruption. A Nigerian would think that a Nigerian Airline ceo instead of grounding the planes would instead erase the max 8 and 9 from the documents and plane body and fly the airline like a regular Boeing 737.

vanguardngr It sometime amaze me the way Nigerians reacts to issue. I was so surprises with the so called attack on Air Peace for a plane they don't have. But, the fact remains as we Nigerians don't value our own, we hardly defend it. We rather prefer to destroy its image.
