Abdullahi while on a courtesy visit to the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, had claimed that violence against northerners in the South is perpetrated by Igbos.
However, addressing reporters in Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State on Wednesday, National Leader of BNL, Princewill Chimezie Richard lamented that Igbos have suffered violence in the hands of Northerners from the 1950s till date and have decided not to form the “siddon look” habit any longer.
BNL Leader accused Northern Elders Forum of sponsoring violence against the Igbos in the north to advance and promote their interest in the Nigerian State. “But when the easterners rise against them, either in the form of retaliation or a revolt they will cry foul. Do they want us to be begging whenever they attack us without mercy in the north? Not this time.will retaliate, he needs brain surgery.”
