Ẹnitan Kẹhinde, general manager and lead consultant of BHM UK, has been announced as the winner of PRovoke’s 'Young Changemakers' award.

TheCableẸnitan Kẹhinde, general manager and lead consultant of the United Kingdom operations of BlackHouse Media , has been announced as the winner of PRovoke’s ‘Young Changemakers’ award.is organised in partnership with WE Communications “to celebrate the next generation of communications leaders, help launch the careers of up-and-comers, and create better equity and more opportunity for those in marginalized groups”.

Ẹnitan, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Public Relations and Communications Association , was praised by the judges for her purpose-driven work ethic and efforts to promote quality service delivery within the global public relations and communications industry., Ẹnitan described the honour as “humbling”, adding that it is a reflection of commitment to hard work.

Among her achievements include producing “Nigeria’s only PR Report for four years; PR workbooks and resources, BHM’s Guide to PR and The Concept of Virality and the significant impact BHM UK plans to achieve across Africa and the UK”. Ẹnitan is also passionate about supporting youths and women in the marketing communications industry, and in 2020, she played a significant mentoring role with the setup of the WIM Connect initiative, which provides a safe space for young women in marketing communications.

Gov Abiodun and FG industrial revolution awardRECENTLY, in recognition of his efforts to ensure rapid industrialisation, enhance the ease of doing business and make Ogun State Nigeria’s top investment destination, the Federal Government honoured the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, with the Distinguished Award for Industrial Revolution. The award, more or less, coincided with the confirmation by the National Bureau of Statistics that Ogun State, with its N100.9bn revenue profile in 2021, is one of the states with the highest internally generated revenue nationwide, coming only after Nigeria’s economic capital, Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory, and Rivers State, a top oil-producing state. If anything, the award is cheering news for all and sundry in Ogun State, recognising the governor’s resolve to bring positive development to the state, especially in the area of industrialisation. There is no state that can develop without industry and, contrary to the submissions of naysayers, a silent revolution has, in the last three and a half years, actually been ongoing on in the Gateway State. I call on the UBAGroup to please explain to me why my money will just disappear from my account without any form of transaction or debit alert. I’m a student and you people will just cut the money I’ve made plans for without any reasons, how safe is my money in a bank like this? A very poor job at glamourising failure. Abiodun has been abysmal in his performance in Ogun State.
