Benue: Ortom directs immediate rehabilitation of state secretariat - Daily Post Nigeria

The Governor who gave the directive today shortly after an inspection tour of the State Secretariat, said office furniture, toilets, electrical installations and other facilities should be properly checked and fixed.

Addressing the workers who had assembled at the office of State Head of Service, the Governor also directed the sinking of boreholes for each of the blocks to serve as standby water sources in the event of delay in supply from the State Water Board, stressing that he had already released funds for recticulation of water at the Secretariat.

He stated that the PENCOM Act of the Federal Government has been domiciled in the state to ensure that those retiring from service receive their pensions and other benefits without hitches.
