Life then wasn’t easy. Then we were struggling because the music industry wasn’t like it’s now. One needed to have some fixed plans before getting a recording label. Our parents are poor and we used to hustle. My mother supported me in my career but my father didn’t and he had a reason which is that musicians are not responsible. When I started my music career, I attended a music school where I played the keyboard and did vocals. Then we would go out to play from band to band.
I didn’t feel anything much because I felt that I deserved it. I didn’t feel like a superstar; then I still used to walk on the streets. I didn’t allow the fame brought by the song to get into my head. I still lead my normal life. I just changed a little lifestyle then. I still have some of my old friends too and changed some.I feel different because it is like when one tastes something different. What I am feeling now at least I am more mature now. I know my left from my right.
