Bayern Munich’s 1-0 win over PSG is Flick’s last Champions League game – Matthaus

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, has said that he was impressed with the performances of Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior when both clubs clashed in the Champions League first-leg fixture last week in Spain.

Klopp said this on Tuesday during his pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League quarter-final second-leg tie against Real Madrid at Anfield. According to him, Liverpool will do everything possible to keep him quiet by not allowing him to have the ball when the Reds tackle Zinedine Zidane’s side.“I was impressed, not surprised. He [Vinicius] is obviously an outstanding talent, and everyone knew it before Real Madrid signed him, but since then, he obviously became even better,” Klopp said.

“That’s cool. Special plans? Yeah, that’s, unfortunately, the case, you saw one goal I think we could have defended, and the other goal was just a great, great long ball and then a great first touch and great finish. “So, yes, we try to avoid the passes in his direction, which is a big task. Impressed? Yes. Surprised? Not.”
