senatorial zones in the state with a view to getting citizens’ inputs ahead of presentation of the proposed budget before the state House of Assembly for passage.
According to him, the state government planned to consolidate on the gains of its budget preparation such that the next budget would be demand driven. “The process has started in line with the provision of the law in the preparation for the budget. This also gives us an opportunity for us as government to interact with people and we considered it as a mechanism for feedback,” the commissioner said.
Also speaking at the event, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Honourable Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki, assured that the Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed-led administration would continue to execute and implement people-oriented projects across the state within the limit of available resources.
