Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, on Tuesday, signed the state 2020 proposed N167bn budget passed by the state assembly into law.
He promised that the government would follow the budget judiciously in the execution of the proposed projects. This, the governor said is in addition to the 300 kilometers rural roads that will be constructed in parts of the state. Earlier, the Speaker of the state assembly, Abubakar Suleiman, explained that the governor presented the proposed 2020 budget to the house two weeks ago, pointing out that they deemed it proper to pass it into law after scrutinizing it.
Shameful budget at $500m, a state that should be running budget of $5b at least on the minimum.
