Barau rewards players, urges FC to aim for Premier League

Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin , has applauded Barau Football Club over their victory and promotion to the Nigeria National League from the Nationwide League One .

Senator Barau made the commendation when he received the club’s management and players at the National Assembly complex in Abuja on Monday, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir.Addressing the team, Senator Barau described the victory as a great achievement, just as revealed that his intention in establishing the club is to make it a global brand and contribute to the growth, employment, and development of the country’s youth.

Assuring the management and the players of his commitment to making the club world-class, Senator Barau challenged them to get ready for restructuring. He donated a new coaster bus, one motorcycle to each player and a N5 million bonus to the management and players.
