National President of the Nigeria Association of Auctioneers, Alhaji Aliyu Kiliya, has sought quick disposal of recovered national assets to forestall untoward acts from government functionaries.Kiliya regretted that the items “have become defected due to weather and technical deformities”, even as he warned against shady deals. `

He likened the e-auctions of the Nigeria Customs Service to secret bids, as only the few elite that allegedly participate in them.
