The Nation Newspaper Atiku, Obi versus Tinubu: It’s judgment day today

in the February 25 poll, and his Labour Party counterpart Peter Obi will know their fate on their appeals challenging the affirmation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory.The court issued a notice communicating the judgment date and time to the parties.

Other members of the panel are Justices Uwani Abba-Aji, Justice Emmanuel Agim, Mohammed Garba, Ibrahim Saulawa, Adamu Jauro and Tijani Abubakar. Justice John Okoro asked Uche whether the court should be guided by the Constitution and the Electoral Act or that it should act arbitrarily. In a similar judgment, it held that Obi failed to provide several facts fundamentally required to support his petition.
