World 100m women hurdles’ record holder, Tobi Amusan, has assured Nigerians of a better outing at next year’s Olympic Games in Paris, France.

Speaking at the Nigerian Embassy in Budapest when the Ambassador hosted Team Nigeria, yesterday, Amusan said: “We came to Budapest to give our best, we actually did, but the results may not be the best outing. Paris 2024 Olympic Games will surely be different.” In her remarks, Dr. Modupe Enitan Irele, who is Nigeria’s Ambassador to Hungary, Serbia, Croatia and Bosnian Herzegovina, appreciated all Nigerian athletes and officials that participated in the 19th World Athletics Championships in Budapest.

“Each Game is different, and as you go back home, hold your head high. As for your World Record, and other athletes holding different records, I pray that you will be the one to break your own record.”
