ASUU: Only workers captured by IPPIS will receive salaries — Buhari

Mr said this when he presented the 2021 budget of N13.08 trillion to the joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja on Thursday., currently on strike, has vowed never to accept the IPPIS platform, as demanded by the government. The ASUU national president, Biodun Ogunyemi, said the union’s ongoing strike would continue in spite of the government’s decision to reopen schools shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.“All the issues we raised are yet to be addressed.

“As we speak, our members are being owed between three to six months of salaries. The government’s so-called fund saving platform, the Integrated Personnel, and Payroll Information System is a colossal failure. “Apart from that, the government is yet to take any step to revitalise the education sector among others,” he said.

That means ASUU is yet to commence strike.

Very good

It's obvious and quite unfortunate that the Nigerian government is not sensitive to the plight of the youths and parents. Why can't the government resolve this issue and save our tertiary education.

What do you expect Certificate by affidavit

The effect of all this delay is on the student.... Years are running like water, boys are growing to men and girls to women ... But our govt want us to grow grey hairs before we graduated.... God please come to our rescue😫😫😫😭😭😭😭😭😴😴😴😤😤

This government has no value for education QED!!!

Let's see how ASUU react to dis. I'm scared😫

Let them call off strike

I dey pray may dem no resume till next year

Schooling in Nigeria is a serious waste of time

If they like they should not go back to work!!

ASUU members eat and drink before you came in to power, and they will continue to survive whether with gov, salaries or not.
