An Assistant Commissioner of Police attached to the Enugu State Police Command, Oluseyi Okenla, is being investigated for an alleged assault on a police sergeant, identified as Helen Onoja.
A statement by the spokesman for the command, Daniel Ndukwe, said the police commissioner had vowed to take measures against the ACP should investigation prove he attacked the female cop.
