The Nigerian Army, on Wednesday, said it has intercepted explosives in Cross River State.

Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, Director of Army Public Relations, in a statement on Wednesday, said after a careful search of the vehicle, it was revealed that it conveyed 72 Improvised Explosive Device chargers, 121 Dynamite Liquid, 200 rounds of 7.62 mm and 82 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition.

The statement urged members of the public to continue to support troops with credible information that will lead to stemming the tide of insecurity across the country.
