“In a world marked by dynamic challenges and unprecedented opportunities, creativity and innovation stand as the driving forces behind progress and transformation. As women engineers, we recognise the critical role that innovation plays in shaping our societies and driving sustainable development.” She, however, disclosed that women engineers in Lagos, under the umbrella of APWEN, had taken a commendable stride by inaugurating an Artificial Intelligence club tailored for female engineering students and young engineers.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris has commended the team representing Nigeria at the global robotics competition in Dallas, Texas, later this month. He spoke when the team paid him a courtesy call at the weekend. Experts in the field of technology have emphasised the need for parents and schools to equip children with tech skills and innovation as part of the demands of the 21st century.
