Appeal Court President, Bulkachuwa commissions new Anambra court

Bulkachuwa expressed happiness about the support of the Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano in ensuring the establishment of court, saying that it is her hope that the court would serve the purpose of its establishment.

“This will bring Justice closer to the people. We praise states like Anambra who have provided the needed resources to ensure that the courts open here, despite their meager resources. He said, “Today is a great day in the history of the Judiciary in Anambra State. Today, this great state finally stands on her own feet in the administration of justice after decades of relying on the Court of Appeal in Enugu for litigations beyond the jurisdiction of the High Courts.

He said that besides the inauguration of the court, his government has mapped out a big expanse of land for the permanent site of the court.

Maryam Sanda's conviction and Grounds for appeal – Daily TrustIn giving my opinion, I concerned myself with the evidence of the prosecution witnesses and that of the defence. I also concerned myself with the burden of proof in criminal prosecution which proof beyond reasonable doubt (I need not cite the law for you). I am concerned with the elements of the crime of murder … Leave all these English. If you want appeal on behave of your client, you are free to do so. But don't insult the sensitivity of the family of the victim. If not, you might have a direct fill with murder against your own someday, and have a fill of what the family is going thru. I quite agree with alot of submissions made in this article, however, the facts of this case & the evidences presented as prove is nt available Its difficult for any1 to contradict or expand beyond d court judgment Maryam Sanda has a right of appeal, lets wait for their decision Too bad
