Ebunoluwa OlafusiKabiru Gaya, senator representing Kano south district, says the New Nigeria Peoples Party will not be a threat to the victory of the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 elections.
The senator was the director-general of the support groups of Osinbajo when the vice-president sought the presidential ticket of the APC. Though Gaya said Kawu Sumaila, NNPP senatorial candidate and his major challenger, is pulling crowd in Kano, he expressed hope that he will be reelected.“Kawu is doing well, but I have more crowd than him, and I believe I will win the election,” he said.
He also said when politicians work for the people, they will, in turn, cast their votes for those they believe in.“Politicians should stop using money to buy votes. Do projects that touch the lives of the people and they will vote for you,” he said.
