The All Progressives Congress has fixed March 17 for an emergency National Executive Committee meeting.
This is contained in a notice of meeting signed by Gov. Abubakar Bello, the acting Chairman of the APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee; Sen. Ken Nnamani and Mrs Stella Okotete .The decision to hold the meeting was taken at the 23rd meeting of the committee on Tuesday.The meeting, they said, is pursuant to Article 25B of the Party Constitution, and by the power vested on the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee via the NEC resolution of Dec. 8, 2020.
What is emergency about this meeting now? I thought 'emergency meeting' means, a meeting without prior notice or one or two days notice. 2day is 10th & a meeting of on 17th is being referred to as 'emergency' so much confusion in their midst
