As part of measures to contain the coronavirus pandemic, the ruling All Progressives Congress and opposition People’s Democratic Party on Monday announced a shut down of their secretariats.
The APC chief said the party secretariat will be shut for two weeks and assured staff that their March salaries would be credited to their bank accounts accordingly. “We as APC leaders must be seen to obey the federal government rules, it is no longer a secret that we are facing a pandemic all over the world and Nigeria has its own share of the corona virus although, it is not as bad as other countries but clearly the numbers are increasing as it is said, prevention is better than cure.
“The NWC also directs all PDP secretariats and offices across the country to comply with this directive accordingly.
